Assistant Cheesemaker

Assistant Cheesemaker

Asgaard Farm & Dairy is an award winning farmstead goat creamery located in Au Sable Forks within the breathtaking Adirondack State Park. We’ve been making small-batch artisan cheese since 2008. Our herd consists of approximately 60 Alpine, Nubian and Saanan goats that produce seasonally (March – December). We create a variety of pasteurized and raw milk cheeses in addition to selling raw milk. Our farm also raises grass fed beef, pasture-raised laying hens and broilers, as well as pigs raised in our woodlands and fed whey from the creamery.  We are proud to be Animal Welfare Approved. We follow organic methods and practice rotational grazing.

We are part of a vibrant and diverse agricultural community, within close proximity to the high peaks.
